The incredibly brilliant and fabulous Mr. Schprock found the chase scene from Bullitt for us all to enjoy. Watch for the green Volkswagen...it was the stuntman's VW (no, Steve did do the driving).

My favorite season is summer because I used to spend it traveling the continent going to Champ Car races, but thanks to a certain selfish pig of a Hoosier (TFG), I no longer have what I loved most in this world. I hate big heavy winter coats that make it uncomfortable getting into the car.

Thanks to you and Schprock. Bullitt was a staple of the late late show when I was growing up (along with such turbocharged classics as Duel and Vanishing Point), and my brother and I never missed it.

Doc - I just recommended Duel to the Zombieslayer. I don't know Vanishing Point, however.

Wow, makes me want to tear up the pavement. lol The youtubers had all these factoids about it too, which was cool.
Funny thing is San Francisco looks very different today. Mostly the same buildings. Oh yeah, never mind. It's the cars. ;)
Another thing, you couldn't pay me to be a stunt man in those cars. Definite headache and chiropractor work after that chase.

I always liked the ones in Ronin - given Frankenheimer did "Grand Prix" I expected nothing less. Also, his BMW Films short was pretty good. (Those are probably youtube'd somewhere)
