Cat Scratch Tuesday
This is my very beloved Tikal shortly before I had to have him put to sleep because of a tumor underneath his tongue which wasn't letting him eat.
First off, LL, Derian Hatcher was never The Face of the Red Wings, much less the preferred face of the NHL.
But if you want to root for somebody like this...
I guess that's your prerogative.

Awww, that made me think of my cat Fermi. She had a tumor on her thigh at age ten. It was not operable. I babied her and fed her crab meat until it was time to put her to sleep. There were no other options.
Pretty kitty. It is a shame that the science on small animals is not as intricate as it is on human beings. After all the medicines and testing that is done on small animals, you would think that operating on them would be a cut and clean practice. Nice picture, TY for sharing.
LL - You write long posts...I haven't had that kind of time. But I'll be back. Lame excuse. I will shame you out of it...or out-man you. ;-) He's the captain of that team....the team takes its cues from him. The thing that's really pathetic is that his hockey hero growing up was Steve Yzerman...which makes no sense to me because he doesn't play or act with the class that Stevie always did.
Fermi - Sorry to bring up bittersweet memories...love the name, though.
